Stoke city info
Stoke City is a football club based in Stoke-on-Trent. As they were founded in 1863, Stoke holds the title of oldest club in the Premier League ... and thought to be the second oldest professional football club in the world. Although Stoke have had limited success their first piece of silver ware was in 1972 when they won the League Cup final. Stoke also won the football league trophy on two occasions. Stoke's home ground, Britannia Stadium, can hold 28,000 fans and was originally built in 1997.
